One of the joys and benefits of living in Southern California is never having a lack of inspiration from my surroundings. Joshua Tree National Park is one of the most incredible places on earth. Joshua Trees are part of the agave family and are hallmarks of Southern California desert landscape. They can tower over 40 feet and have a life span of 150+ years. There are efforts to demolish over 4,000 Ancient Joshua Trees to allow for the Aratina Solar Farm to be completed. All profits from the sale of this print will be donated to the Mojave Desert Land Trust to help further their efforts of protecting Joshua Trees in the Mojave Desert.
