In August 2023, a meteor shower graced our skies. I set myself up near Mt. Laguna to watch the show. I stayed up all night watching from my cozy camping chair. I stayed up until the sun started peaking over the eastern mountains and I knew I had to paint, and to paint quickly, to capture the stunning colors of morning and night bleeding together.
